For Easter, Lapingouin and his class visit the Chocochef's cockroach factory. They are finally going to discover how choco-eggs are made. But will the Chocochef reveal all his secrets to them?

It's springtime! Caillou is at his uncle Felix's farm. He is hunting for Easter eggs with his cousins.

Célestine has seven hens who happily peck outdoors. Brigitte lays white eggs; Agathe, pink ones; Bernadette, speckled eggs; Capucine, tiny ones; Odette, huge eggs; Charlotte's eggs have two yolks. Salomé, still hasn't laid anything... One morning, little Arthur who's spending the Easter holidays at her aunt's finds a funny egg under Salomé's feathers. A brown egg! Célestine, the farmer, remains speechless: her hen lays chocolate eggs... and she lays dozens! The news quickly travels around the village, then the country, up to the broadcast news. The chocolate industry begins to worry seriously: Easter is approaching and this hen threatens the chocolate makers' business...

This morning, the sound of bells woke up Chick. What a surprise! Here and there, the garden is full of chocolate eggs! In the biggest one, Chick pecks and nibbles and enjoys himself. With a full belly, he slips inside the egg to take a nap. Then Bunny passes by...

He joins the snack too and squeezes inside! Then it's Duckling’s turn to join them. What a wonderful surprise egg! The three greedy little ones, full and satisfied, fall asleep well hidden inside the big chocolate egg. At the farm, the parents are getting worried! Where have their little ones gone? All the animals are looking for them. Dove soon finds them, dozing off in a pool of chocolate! All’s well that ends well—with a good shower and, of course, a big Easter egg hunt!
