Like stories and tales, children's fables, myths, and legends are among the classics to introduce them to. These tales that feature legendary heroes and creatures are especially captivating for younger children.
Who has never heard of the story The Raven and the Fox? The Cicada and the Ant or The Wolf and the Lamb? These stories are part of the Fables de La Fontaine and are a must in French literature. They feature fictional characters, in the form of animals, personified objects, or men, and contain a moral.
If you would like other exciting stories to tell or listen to, Greek myths are also within children's reach. They can learn about Odysseus, Penelope, the legend of the Minotaur, and all the other figures of Greek mythology. The youngest discover a fascinating universe through founding texts adapted to make them understandable to the youngest.

For very young children, reading means being told a story. Based on this observation, the Storyplay'r teams have placed sharing at the center of the proposed uses: recording and sharing of narrations, reading workshops, readings with projection, shared online readings...
This idea of sharing is at the heart of the partnership that Storyplay'r has set up with the Association 'Lire et faire lire', the Ligue de l'Enseignement and the Union Nationale des Associations Familiales. Storyplay'r helps Lire et Faire Lire volunteers to share their pleasure of reading by allowing them to record and share their narration with children in elementary school and other educational structures (leisure centers, day care centers, libraries).
By subscribing to Storyplay'r, you also allow us to keep alive this partnership and the beautiful mission we share with Lire et Faire Lire.
