Sophie's mother called her Sophie-Fourire, because they always laughed together on the trumpet and accordion, especially when they made faces in front of the mirror. When her mother leaves forever because of an accident, Sophie can't find her pretty laugh anymore, even if her daddy and her friends want to help her get it back.In the end, perhaps it wasn't the laughter that was lost, but something else, another feeling that had to be let out so that the laughter could reappear...This album received the Prix Illustration Jeunesse, special mention for newcomers, at the Salon du livre de Trois-Rivières 2017.
