Back from a sad trip, the young Edmond has to learn to live without his mom, while his dad tries to hide his sorrow, and his sister doesn't seem to understand that their mother won't come back. Edmond tries to help his family by making grilled cheese (with butter on both sides, like his mom) and doing all sorts of small daily tasks. He ends up thinking he could get a job... He might only be 10, but he'd be doing his part. On the way to work, Edmond will meet Raymond and his cat Dali. Through their conversations and his first professional experience, he'll discover that it needn't to rush things, he can still wait before becoming an adult, and that he can take his time to be a child and live his grief with his loved ones.
