This function is a valuable assistance to specialized learning and learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysorthographia, and speech disorders. It can help children who have difficulties with reading and pronouncing: they can listen to a word’s pronunciation by clicking on it.
Voice synthesis: Activation and use on Storyplay’r
It is easy to use: you just have to open a story (whether reading, listening, or recording), and display the text by clicking on « Text » on the top:
The text appears on the right (or on the bottom) and some buttons appear. There is a blue button like this one:
Click on it and then, click on the function « Listen to words by clicking on them »

A language problem? Is your voice synthesis reading French language with an English accent?
It could happen when your software is in English by default. We suggest that you change this setting.
