Sharing a narration

Thanks to Storyplay’r, you can record your voice and share your narration.

Nothing is easier! Record your voice (click here to know how to do it), close the page, and come back to the story home page you’ve just recorded: a recording was added. Click on « Shared » on the right, as below:

You can share your narration now. When you share a narration, the recipient has access to your voice and the text as well.

There are three kinds of sharing a narration: by email, by public link, and with the subscribers/classes.

Sharing a narration by email

It is possible for families, schools, and media libraries. You can share your narration giving your recipient’s mail address.

The recipient will receive an email to inform you shared a narration with them. There will be a link inside the email to listen to the story. You can share your narration with someone who is not a Storyplay’r subscriber. They can listen to your narration without accessing the catalog.

If the recipient is a Storyplay’r user, they will see the recording directly on their account, on the story page, on « Recordings« , then « Recordings received« .

The recipient could listen to your recording, and share it again.

Sharing a narration by public link

Only schools and media libraries have this access. You don’t need to send anything.

Storyplay’r gives you a link to the story you just told. A subscriber, or not, can listen to your narration by clicking on this link. You can send it by email, post it on social networks, on your website…

Sharing a narration with subscribers and classes

Depending on whether you are on a (1) librarian account, (2) school administrator, or (3) teacher account, the 3rd tab allows you to share your narrations with (1) your members, (2) the other teachers in your school or (3) your students.

You just need to click on the button « ON ».

It is only for schools and media libraries that subscribe to a specific subscription. This button doesn’t appear for families.
