In the beginning, before anything else, there was God. Then God made light. And God made the Earth. God divided the Earth into water and land. God made the plants and trees to grow on the land. Then God made all the stars and all the other planets. He made the sun and the moon. He made day and night. Then God made fish to swim in the water. God made birds to fly in the air. And God made animals to run on the land.
Then God made people to live on the Earth. He made them in His own image. He had spent six days creating all that He made and it was good. On the seventh day, He rested.
THE STORY of NOAH God was upset with the people of the Earth. He wanted them to live in love, but they were living in sin. God decided He would flood the Earth. He chose one good man to help Him start again. That man was Noah. God told Noah to build an ark and fill it with two of every kind of animal. Noah built the ark exactly as God had instructed him to build it. The animals came two by two and filled the ark. When it was time, Noah brought his wife, his sons, and his sons’ wives into the ark. And they waited… And then it started to rain…
