Like two drops of water, you are my double, I am your reflection.
One cosy nest for two children. Two hearts next to mummy.
We are like the two sides of the moon. Two halves making a whole. I am you and you are me.
For when I am sad, you cry. You are another me.
And when you laugh, I laugh too. I am another you.
If tomorrow you are cold, I’ll make you warm.
If I am afraid, you will comfort me.
Let’s learn together! I’ll take your hand in case you trip. You’ll take my hand to guide my steps.
Let’s grow up together! Our hair tousled in the same dream. Breathing as one. Your hand in mine.
If something should make us part, you will come back to me.
And if life takes us on different paths, I’ll be there, in the shadows, right next to you, like the other side of the moon.
Now, it’s time to sleep. Don’t let go of my hand!
