Extrait du livre Rock-a-Bye Baby
Rock-a-bye baby, on the treetop, When the wind blows, the cradle will rock. When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall, And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Rock-a-bye baby, you can sleep tight, Knowing the magic that holds you tonight. The world will watch over you as you're asleep, so lay down your head and start counting sheep.
As your cradle falls and floats to the ground, The wind will pick up and blow you around. You'll fly cross the sky with the greatest of ease, Just floating along, past the birds, clouds, and trees.
Let your dreams take hold as you fly through the sky, And see the whole world in the blink of an eye. Know you'll be safer wherever you are. You can even fly up to that twinkling star.
Rock-a-bye baby, lay down in bed, And dream of adventure as you rest your head. You might sail the seas with a ship strong and true, In search of adventure, on water so blue.
Rock-a-bye baby, dream a big dream, And let your cradle take you across the jet stream. You'll fly past forever; you'll swoosh and you'll swish, To a place filled with magic and all that you wish.
