The strange mountains by Arnaud de Buchy, Sonia Grandame and Joachim Hérissé published by Le Regard Sonore
Under a wondrous night sky, Moko gazed at the twinkling stars, knowing that on the other side of the world, the people of his village could see the same sight.
"What if there is more than one end of the world? How would I know which one I'm looking for?", wondered Moko. Totemie took his hand. "The answer is in your heart, Moko. Come, let's continue our journey."
Moko and Totemie walked out into the night. As the sun began to rise, little by little, strange shapes appeared in the horizon.
Moko ant Totemie found themselves in the middle of the soaring mountains, lining a narrow pass, which seemed to have no end. Moko asked himself what was at the end of this pass and behind the mountains. He thought about it, and then made a decision, dragging Totemie into the pass.
It was dark and the endless road became suffocating and frightening. "We're going to get lost", said Totemie. "Let's turn around." "Don't be afraid, Totemie, the mountains are going to guide us", answered Moko.
