The secret garden
One morning, it was so warm that the sun, though barely over the horizon, was already drying the ground and the fields all around Moko's village.
Worried that there was no water, Moko went to the village magician's house. "Can you make rain, or find water underground for us?" Moko enquired. "My child, what you're looking for, you can find yourself; follow the trail of dunes, it will lead you to the sea of sand." "And if you know how to look, you will find." Moko didn't really understand what the magician said, but he started to follow the trail of dunes.
The sun burn down and not a breeze nor a cloud in the sky eased his trip. Moko told himself that he probably wouldn't find anything, and he wanted to head back to his village. Suddenly, something strange appeared in the distance.
Trees surrounding a little pool of water. "Hooray!" "I've found it!" "I've found it!" "There's water over there!" called out Moko. He started running towards it so fast that he kicked up the sand like tiny puffs of smoke under his feet. But after only a few steps towards it, he suddenly saw nothing. Let down, sad and lost Moko sat down on a stone and cried.
